Very pleased with items and the quick delivery
Pre ordered a Fujifilm X-e5 from Harrisons around it's announcement time. The camera was waiting in the store a couple of days before the official release date. I was kept up to date with everything by the friendly staff at Harrisons, and they could not have done it better. Well done, and thanks to Harrisons for such good service!
After 2 weeks in the Scottish Highlands shooting this little beauty I am impressed, it replaces my much loved x100f as my main small digital. I've paired it up with a voightlander F2 27mm ultron, which gives a slightly less wide feild than the 23mm that is the obvious choice: this suits me as I prefer a 50mm focal length on 35mm film cameras I use, and manually focusing isn't a hardship for me, but I appreciate it's not for everyone!
I've also tried old pentax lenses from film Cameras such as 70s/80s SMC pentax lenses, and this works, but focusing and stopping down is trickier, but can be done with a bit of patience.
I have found the camera just with one lens to be surprisingly versatile. The built in digital telephoto works well for a longer shots, and the built in panorama stitch does great at super wide landscape, and tilting the camera to portrait position then using panorama mode gives a pleasing letterbox aspect ratio. I've shamelessly overused both the telephoto and stitch and both of these wring everything out of the voigtlander 27mm lens, I've found it to be all I want in the bag!
As with my X100f, film simulations are a thing of wonder, I could live without the new dedicated film sim dial, but it is nice. Being able to shoot in mono and do raw conversions to other film modes, push and pull, adjust curves without needing to go to a PC is a winner too.
I struggle to find anything I don't like, I guess the android app is a bit clunky, and sometimes transferring images to a phone is a little flaky for me, but this is more a Bluetooth problem than Fuji's. This little camera is brilliant and I look forward to spending more time getting to know it.
Lovely and quick delivery. Amazing service. Product also arrived safely with no damages
Good fast, bright and sharp lens as was the first rendition of this lens. If you are OK with foregoing the manual focus clutch and aperture/distance wheel and no weather sealing of the mki version you'll be OK. Having had the mki version some time ago I personally prefer the manual clutch for manual focus tweaking. It's swings and roundabouts.
The X-E5 is a significantly more premium product than the X-E4, improved, not just in specs, but also in ergonomics, materials and build-quality
Smart to look at & very well made to hold 300 photos.
They look good all lined up on a shelf if you order the same colour.
Perfect for my intended use. Appears well constructed.
Very nice album. Would recommend it. I'm using it to take favourite photos from slides taken over the years as it is easier to look at a photograph than keep loading a projector and putting up a screen. It's quite a task as we seem to have a lot of slides taken before digital cameras came into their own!
Excellant service, quick delivery and the cheapest at the time also a brilliant lens., will use again.
Great product delivery very quick excellent packaged great service has usual
Excellent service and excellent price
It came exactly as it was described and in good time
Love this lens, sharp macro.
Downside sometimes the AF freezes and I have to restart the camera but apart from that all good
